Walk through the heart of the historic center, where the Zócalo square and experience Metropolitan Cathedral, and the National Palace. Travel back in time as we explore the ancient city of Teotihuacán, located just outside Mexico City. Known as the "City of the Gods," this UNESCO World Heritage Site features awe-inspiring pyramids and enjoying meso-american cuisine in a cave.

Step into one of Mexico's most revered spiritual sites, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The breathtaking design of the modern basilica, which houses the miraculous image of the Virgen de Guadalupe—a symbol of faith and unity for millions. Wander through the serene grounds, which include the old basilica, a stunning hilltop chapel, and panoramic views of Mexico City. This sacred experience is a journey through devotion, history, and awe-inspiring beauty.

Itinerary

Upon arriving at Mexico City Airport, transportation will be provided from the airport to the hotel.  Check in La Galeria Reforma Hotel.Those guests that arrive before 6 pm will enjoy a welcome dinner then on to  Double Decker City Night tour. 

Breakfast at the hotel followed by  a private transport and guide, to  visit Teotihuacan pyramids, one of the oldest and most important of Mexico’s archeological sites in Mexico. Explore the 3 main temples of the archaeological site (Pyramid of Quetzalcóatl, Sun, and Moon) we will start at the pyramid of Quetzalcóatl with a brief explanation of the general history of Teotihuacan. 

Followed by one of a kind experience, lunch at La La Gruta restaurant. This is the well-known grotto/cave restaurant near Teotihuacan and the only place to experience a cave restaurant in Mexico City! serving traditional Mexican favorites, and also uncommon dishes like escamoles, often referred to as Mexican caviar. 

An afternoon visit to The Museum of Anthropology; the most important museum in Mexico and Latin America. It was built especially to focus on the indigenous people in Mexico. Inside the museum are specialized rooms for different pre-Hispanic cultures, but the most important is the Aztec, wherein the main hall is the Sunstone, often referred to as the “Aztec Calendar”. This museum is stunning and breathtaking, no other way to describe this experience. We will end the evening with a live  Lucha Libra Experience and Taco Tasting!


Breakfast at the hotel followed, by a walking tour of El Zocalo, Mexico City main square. Highlights include La Cathedral, Templo Mayor & Bellas Artes, a lunch break in a rooftop restaurant overlooking the presidential palace. The afternoon will be a visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe, experience  the modern circular main basilica, housing the revered image of the Virgin of Guadalupe. The old basilica, with its baroque style, tilts gracefully nearby. Surrounding gardens, chapels, and panoramic views from Tepeyac Hill offer a spiritual and scenic experience steeped in history. End the evening with an authentic dinner at Azulismo.

Our day will begin at San Angel, a beautiful colonial-style neighborhood. Starting with an elegant breakfast, then on to enjoy Plaza Jacinto - 100 artists displaying artwork for sale, along with boutiques offering stunning Mexican Folk Art.  A visit to Polanco neighborhood to enjoy some award winning tacos, and a final museum visit to El Museo Soumaya. The farewell dinner will be chef inspired dinner at Raiz or Entremar.

Breakfast at the hotel, and wander Zona Rosa neighborhood before heading  to the airport.
