What to Expect

Daily shopping and cultural experiences led by Rose Mendoza. Each walk is marked by sophisticated stores, art galleries, colonial architecture, tucked-away Placitas, and the all-important people-watching in El Jardin!

The Centro Historico houses an extensive number of boutiques, both contemporary and folk art-themed. Includes daily group breakfast, mid-day lunch, and the best of San Miguel dinners and optional after-dinner drinks at rooftop bars and restaurants.

Important Note - The experience in San Miguel de Allende will include daily walking on cobblestone streets and uneven sidewalks, which is not ideal if guests require assistance with walking and or have dietary restrictions.

Itinerary

Arrive at Leon Airport BJX, roundtrip transportation will be provided to San Miguel de Allende, approx 90 minutes drive.

Check-in - Casa De La Noche Hotel, followed by a tour of El Jardin, then dinner at "The Restaurant"

“Artisans Alley” also known as Mercado de Artesenias, is a market at Plaza Lanatón that stretches across several streets with stalls selling beautiful handmade artisanal crafts and gifts, at affordable prices. It is a must-visit, as you will get the full Mercado experience. Your guide will point out the best shops that offer quality goods, including silver jewelry, day of the Dead figurines, and home décor.

Lunch Encanto Cafe -San Miguel's most charming restaurant is known for their colorful folk art designs and Mexican food.

Afternoon Walking tour of the Centro Historico towards the Bellas Arte art school, and enjoy many boutiques along the way, such as “La Victoria” and “La Buena Vida Bakery”. We can enjoy an ice cream & people-watch in the Jardin. Guests can rest until dinner or continue enjoying the shops.

Dinner will be hosted in Centro Historico, and after dinner, the group will relax and enjoy Mariachis in El Jardin, followed by optional evening drinks a "La Sirena Gorda"

Daily breakfast served at Casa De La Noche - After breakfast, we will explore the many shopping experiences of Calle Relox and Calle Mesones, including boutiques, antiques, and shoe stores.

We will take an afternoon lunch break at Quince Rooftop Restaurant, with a fantastic view of San Miguel.

We will continue shopping in la Calle Zacateros and visit local artist galleries and one-of-a-kind clothing stores.

Dinner will be hosted in the rooftop setting of "La Dona" restaurant", and watch the sunset from their terrace.

Optional to enjoy Mexican hot chocolate and Churros from St. Augustin, or after dinner drinks at La Aozteca rooftop bar,

We will begin our day enjoying a fantastic brunch at Hacienda de Santuario. Housed in a beautiful historic home located in the famous Calle Aldama. After brunch, we will wander Calle Aldma and Cuna de Allende and enjoy the Centro Historico,

The afternoon break will be Petite Four Bakery and/or JOEFHI Chocolates

Dinner will be hosted at the elegant Rosewood Hotel, followed by optional after-dinner drinks at "La Luna Rooftop Bar" rated the best rooftop bar in San Miguel.

Last day in magical San Miguel de Allende, pack your treasures, an airport transfer will be provided to the Leon airport.
