Celebrating Dia De Los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) is the most time-honored holiday of Oaxaca. An example of the harmonious relationship between Christianity and the Pre-Hispanic traditions found in the state of Oaxaca.

Although Dia de los Muertos is recognized all over Mexico, Oaxaca has become known for its ornately rich celebrations that honor the return of their deceased loved ones on November 1 & 2. 

You will find that there is much culture to see and do in the city of Oaxaca. We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join us and celebrate with the community of Oaxaca, indulge in exquisite foods & experience amazing art.

Payments

Payment- $100 per person is required to secure a reservation
Monthly invoice & Final payment is due 30 days prior to the event.
Full payment discount: 10% discount offered if payment is provided in full, prior to 90 days of departure.
Refunds: 100% refund if notified 90 days prior to event.
All major credit cards & Checks, PayPal accepted.

Physical Requirements

Oaxaca is a historic town, with cobble stone streets and uneven sidewalks and small hilly streets. Each participant must be able to walk with ease. We apologize, but wheelchairs cannot be accommodated. It will also be difficult to accommodate guests with strict dietary restrictions, we can accommodate some restrictions if notified in advance.

Airport & Transportation

Arrive October 30th, in Oaxaca airport OAX, ( this may require a stop in Mexico City first) before 4pm Local time.

Select a departure time November 4th between 2pm – 4pm.

Transportation will be provided to downtown Oaxaca from airport.
